Laura Flowers is an elementary education major student at Tulsa
Community College. She was enjoying a cup of coffee at Starbucks in Utica
Square with her pet Chihuahua last Saturday afternoon.

She was born in Northeastern Oklahoma and moved to Tulsa when
she was 9. Ever since Tulsa has been her favorite city. She does photography as
a hobby. So she thinks downtown Tulsa, where she also works as a receptionist
is very rustic and great for doing shoots. Good restaurants in Tulsa is another
thing she loves about Tulsa. She said, “ I would like to move to other cities.
I am majoring elementary education so that I can teach English in foreign
countries, but Tulsa will always be my home”. The way she talked about Tulsa
showed how she loves the city and proud she is to live here.
