Local Tulsa resident Matthew Bearnan is a new avid fisherman who was trying his luck at the LaFortune Park Fishing Pond last Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Bearnan has lived in Tulsa for all of his life’s 29 years and has just started to get back into fishing after having been an angler as a child. He was by himself this past Sunday, but when asked how long he has been fishing, he said,“Me and my girlfriend started it as a hobby last spring.”
This was his first time fishing at the LaFortune Park Fishing Pond. He was hoping to continue Sunday’s good fortune after having caught a 6 pound bass earlier that day
