Tulsans are proud of the new innovations in the city, but Tulsa's crime rate is definitely something to be worried about.

The
city’s crime rate is almost double the U.S. average every year with an
especially high number of burglaries and assaults in the past decade, according
to city-data.com.
The number of burglaries in 2011 was 1,856 per 100,000 people while the U.S. average was 702. Tulsa had 645 assaults per 100,000 people, the figures show, while the U.S. average is 241.
To be fair, most other urban cities have a reasonably high crime rate as well, but Tulsa hass the highest among the Oklahoma cities—including Oklahoma City.
