Adam-Bobby Farman: Reinventing the Bow Tie

Adam-Bobby Farman: "A bow tie changes the whole outfit, it changes you."
By Grace Doyle

Everyone has a crazy dream, but not everyone takes the leap to go chase that dream.

That's not the case for 24-year-old Adam-Bobby Farman. At just 18 and with only $100 in his pocket, Farman set off for New York City to be a designer. Now back in Tulsa for business, he's still chasing his dream, not as just as a fashion designer, but as a bow tie designer extraordinaire.

Wearing a bow tie made of square mirrors, I could see he was destined for the Big Apple. Farman says he is going to “keep on keeping on [and not] let anybody get [him] down.”

With his leap of faith, his eccentric bowties, and his passion, Farman might just make it.
